Mookaite "Sunset on the Beach" pendant

Necklace of Mookaite from Western Australia. The layering of colors from red, orange, yellow, white and tan create a scene like a sunset on the beach. I spent some time orienting the rough stone in the saw to get this arrangement of colors and hand polished this stone to a 40x30mm cabochon, set in gold-plated setting with 19 inch chain.
