Customer came to me with a precious family heirloom, a sterling silver belt buckle with a gold Indian head, turquoise and coral. Unfortunately, one of the turquoise and one of the coral stones was missing and also, the cup to hold the coral was missing. It was important to him that it was natural, untreated, turquoise and natural coral and, of course, the cup had to be sterling.
Here is the buckle as it came to me. On my finger is the sterling cup I made and the segment of coral that I would cut the stone from.
