I wish to honour the Maori king, Tuheitia and honour his passing. May his memory be always for blessing.
I have my own personal memory of King Tuheitia. In 2015, I was honoured to be asked to make the signet ring for the Maori king. The jeweler came to me with an 18 carat gold signet ring with a yin-yang on top. The yin was set in pave diamonds and the yang had to be made from the finest New Zealand Kahurangi Pounamu (nephrite jade). Crystillery was asked to cut and set the stone.
